Linux&Coffee Meetup in SE Melbourne

New to Linux? Just wanting to find out? Trying and need very basic guidance?

Just want to see what this is all about? Just want to meet people and learn something new?

Mum, Dad, son, daughter, all ages welcome.

This is an opportunity to meet some others who are enjoying using Linux and want to share their experience, in a casual environment.  This is NOT an expert meetup, but if you are one and wish to share your experience, you are of course most welcome.

Bring your laptop if  you want and a (usb 3G stick if you have one).

If anyone, has a suggestion for a venue, please let me know.

If anyone has a specific question or issue, let me know before hand.

Cost:  This event is free to attend for LUV (Linux Users of Victoria) members,  and itsfree to join LUV! (go to: www.luv.asn.au). ($2.00 others)

(Note: given this is a new event, we have a current attendance limit of 10 max.  But this may be reviewed.  So if you really want to come and miss out on a place, let me know)

I would like to meet on this occasion though I have developed applications for Linux to learn more about kernel programming, device drivers and much more.

Gloria Jeans supports the Australian Christian Lobby who are very homophobic and racist.

Hello all, the next Linux&Coffee meetup will be at Gloria Jeans shop at 95 Kingsway in GlenWaverley. This is a slight change from previous meeting venue. If you are coming by PT, its on your right instead of left from the GW train station - 500m. There is also plenty or parking just behind the shopping strip.
