The intent of future of Linux on ARM is to developing open source software for the ARM® architecture, The activities focus on the following areas:
+ Bring up the board booting through Serial and nfs.
+ Adding command in the U-boot sources, multiboot U-boot.
+ Building the kernel. + Basic ARM devicetree support.
+ Building the driver as part of kernel (Drivers for GPIO with '''sysfs, GPIO with '''mmap''').
+ submitting kernel patch for kernel upstream.
+ Building the Toolchain.
+ Creating the root file system. + Making a webcam work on the Beaglebone black. + Hands on Yocto evaluation build images.
