We'll hike down the Pinch In Trail and then follow the Linville Gorge River Trail upstream. We'll take Conley Cove Trail back up and out of the Gorge. This will be close to a seven mile hike, mostly downhill or level, until the last mile and a half, where we hike up out of the Gorge. We'll park cars at both trail heads and this will be a shuttle hike. Along the hike we will stop occasionally to remove highly invasive plants such as Mulitiflora Rose, Paulownia (Princess Tree), and Silvergrass. I'll bring tools and offer any needed training. You come ready for a beautiful hike and to dig or saw a little! Be sure to bring 2 - 3 liters of water, plenty of food for yourself, rain gear and good hiking boots.
