Hike and Stewardship on Rock Jock Trail

  • May 24, 2014 · 9:00 AM

Meet everyone at 9 am at the Conley Cove Trailhead.  We'll hike four miles along the Rock Jock Trail.  There are a few clumps of invasive plants like Chinese Silvergrass and Princess Trees throughout this trail, mostly at the halfway point that we'll remove.  This is a beautiful trail, with lots of wow and views.

We'll have folks from the Wilderness Skills Institute and various parts of the Southeast joining us on the stewardship hike! Sure to be a fun group!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
