walk and lunch

I have heard this is a great place to walk so we will meet at the bandshell at 9:30 (I assume the location of the bandshell will be self-evident), take a walk to the falls (for those of you more fit than me, you can call it a hike) and have lunch at Sea Salt.  From what I understand, Sea Salt is excellent seafood and ridiculous lines.  From looking at the menu, they serve seafood and a couple vegetarian items.  They also have beer and wine so that might help with the waiting.

I hope to see you there.  Lori

Colleen: You might like to consider parking at a meter on S. Minnehaha south of Godfrey - I've never failed to find a parking along that Avenue (on street it self) - see you if you have difficulty call me 517/[masked]

I am not familiar with the area. Can someone give advice as to where to park? I signed up to walk there with a different meet up group and I gave up on trying to find a place to park and went home.
A street name or something would help to use a GPS. Thanks.

Hi, colleen. I am not sure either. I have the address listed above and am just going to go drive around. I know there is paid parking and street parking... Anyone else know more than I do?

Hi, everyone. I wanted to post an update on finding us next Saturday. We will meet at the bandshell at 9:30 and probably hang out there for a few minutes to catch everyone we can. We will then go for a walk----I trust someone else to know where we are going. We will meet back at Seasalt when we are done.

I am going to bring a purple balloon (assuming I can get some helium, which I recently heard was in short supply) to make it easier for you to spot us. If I can't get helium, I may bring the balloon anyway and you can look for the woman trailing the purple balloon behind her on a string...

We love the Minnehaha Falls area. Fun Sea Food Restaurant is there, too!

I just did this walk with some little kids. The falls are right by Sea Salt. You can hike down to the Mississippi, which is not too far. There are two paths....one wider, less buggier one to the left of the stream and the right side is a skinny, muddy, more adventurous route.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
