It was a great talk. Heow did an awesome job of demonstrating the power of Clojure and showing how little code is required to access data from various feeds and normalize and cluster this data and present it to users either sorted by time or by relevance.

Heow has a decade’s worth of web development experience using just about every combination of languages and tools you can think of and then some. He has settled on Clojure and ClojureScript as his choice languages for both client and server side web development. Tomorrow’s hands-on talk on the topic of web development and data mining in Clojure promises to be extremely exciting, fun educational.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
