I'm a chronic book-lover, and although I like to read many different types of fiction, I was the kid in school who loved English class assignments. I was looking for a club that would read the kind of books I like to read, not just what's popular.
That's kind of a toss-up between Pride and Prejudice and The Lord of the Rings.
Jane Austen's Lady Susan, Captains Courageous, The Once and Future King. Also, I'm curious about The Mysteries of Udolpho, and I never read the whole Chronicles of Narnia. And anything by Wilkie Collins; The Moonstone was fabulous.

Lisa:
I would like to bring a snack tomorrow, but will be coming from another activity by Metro. Is there a grocery or convenience store near you? And what would you like? I was thinking of cheese or hummus, but can bring something else - chips, crackers, dessert, etc. Also, it needs to be light, which means that I can not bring drinks or fruit.

Hi Lisa, thanks for joining! You and I seem to have two of the same favorite books. I look forward to meeting you.
