My real name is Lori; I live in Shelton; staying put until retirement.
What are your expectations for this group? What do you hope to gain and/or learn? What can you contribute?
It is my hope that everyone who participates feels welcome and free to be her true self. I also hope that each and every members finds others with whom they can relate and go on to build true, meaningful friendships.
What qualities do you look for in a friend? What are your best qualities? Weakness(es)?
The qualities I look for in a true friend are complete honesty (please don't lie to spare my feelings); non-judgemental; acceptance of differences without consequence; good listener; reliable; upbeat yet able to enjoy a good, healthy bitch fest. :) Weakness: I can be over sensitive and at times insensitve. I don't know how to read between the lines and I can also be too blunt.
What types of activities do you enjoy? What new things interest you? Are you a follower or leader? Do you have a knack for organizing? Are you interested in taking an active roll in running this group?
Lots! I enjoy being outdoors, being physically active... I like books, bookstores & wineries, ethnic dining, movies, theatre, music...
What is your availability? How often do you expect to be able to participate?
Weekends mostly.
