Calling all writers of literary fiction

Do you dabble in psychological realism? Metafiction?

Are your shelves lined with books authored by Mary Gaitskill, Terese Svoboda, John NcNally, Richard Bausch, Jim Sheppard, and Dan DeLillo?

If you answered yes, this may be the writing group for you.

The purpose of the group is to provide writers of literary fiction with the opportunity to constructively workshop their short stories and novel excerpts. Members of the group will email group participants the stories or novel excerpts they want reviewed. Participants agree to read and comment in writing (notes scribbled in the margins of manuscripts are fine) on all of the submitted work BEFORE the scheduled meeting date at which time, the group will meet to discuss the work and exchange feedback.

In order to keep the reading and reviewing manageable, only three manuscripts will be reviewed per month and the manuscripts will be limited to 30 pages in length. This group is open to all writers of literary fiction from the novice to the published author.
