Because my stomach can only hold so much I asked one of the vendors if I could purchase a half of portion for half the price and they allowed me to do this. They should have had an option to buy a full or taste portion like at the taste. I bought the vip ticket and would have preferred the food instead of the drinks be included. Also, I felt that they should have had more drink options...wine, wine coolers, ciders, and more mixed drink options.I actually e-mailed them suggesting these things and I'm hoping next year will be much improved. I really like the concept but it definitely could be improved.

I was very disappointed, maybe I just didn't understand what I was getting myself into, but I thought there would be some free food samples, or at least the food would be in smaller portions so you could try more than one thing. Not sure how this was any different than just going to one of the restaurants

I agree Courtney, smaller samples with lower prices would've been a better way to go. I will say that it was nice not to have to go to Longman and Eagle to try their Saturday Sausage Shop, but it left me too full for other selections. Oh well. I hope you all had fun.

So who is up for EATILY after The Market On Saturday?

Just a reminder to everyone interested: This event occurs Friday evening AND Saturday midday. Feel free to attend either day or both.

Tickets must be purchased from Open Table for the specific day you plan to attend. Tickets are good only on the day for which they were purchased.

I'm planning on arriving around 11am on Saturday. I won't set any hard meet plans unless someone is interested, but I'm available to compare notes or share awesome finds at the market.
