What's your favorite restaurant in the world, where is it, and what makes it so wonderful?

Im sure Ill be chastised for this... but I think Id like to pick various regions in the US known for their food preparation. I have not yet developed a singular love for one culture or its cuisine... instead I embody America's timeless identity as a melting pot of the world. You can take hamburgers and hot dogs off of the menu... but I have loved investigating fusion dishes that marry two or more foreign cultures and always have just a bit of the USA squeezed in for good measure.

Have you ever dreamed of creating your own cookbook? What would your focus be?

There was a whirlwind trip between France, London and Amsterdam. Got to try foie gras, Bison and Chicken Makhani (London has some pretty great Indian food at 3am).

We love writers, photographers and artists who love food! Are you interesed in helping us publish our blog and magazine?

Sabri Nahari is my latest and greatest. Good spices & seasoning. Ambiance is great. Nuevo Leon is authentic Mexican if you're around Pilsen.

I have loved food for as long as I can remember. Only after starting to travel, though, did I begin to appreciate what Chicago has to offer to the discerning foodie. The wealth of culture here means never looking far for superb authenticity!
