What's your favorite restaurant in the world, where is it, and what makes it so wonderful?

Brazil. They happen to be the premier food wasters of the world. The concept of the Churrasco weakens me in the knees (usually from packing away too much meat).

Have you ever dreamed of creating your own cookbook? What would your focus be?

I ran with the bulls in Pamplona in 1968. I tried going around the , overland, in 1970 -1971 but was turned back at the border of Burma/Myanmar; it was closed. Developed dysentery and lost 40 pounds in 2 weeks (effective form of weight control, but not recommended for everyone). Have most recently spent time in Latin America and Brazil has risen to the top of the heap, largely because the food was edible, delicious and without contamination. Also, alcohol was poured freely to help down the mea (better digestive aid than water, anyhow)l.

We love writers, photographers and artists who love food! Are you interesed in helping us publish our blog and magazine?

Moving to the area on 7/30. Will update profile shortly thereafter.

Introduction

An eater from Florida in search of the elusive/mythical roadhouse. Did find a few respectable candidates who could bear the standard. The magic was in the anticipation, the atmosphere and the first bite. Kindred spirits, UNITE!
