What's your favorite restaurant in the world, where is it, and what makes it so wonderful?

In the world??? Yikes...haven't been everywhere. For now, I'm really liking Bistronomic in Chicago for consistently good stuff like seafood or celery root appetizers, killer venison topped with fois gras...and great service. Chef Noguier always seems to be on hand to greet diners. Have great memories of special occasions there with my mom.

Have you ever dreamed of creating your own cookbook? What would your focus be?

I created a virtual restaurant for a class once. The menu was mezes or appetizers from all over the Mediterranean. I figure when the virtual restaurant is successful enough, folks will want the virtual cookbook...avatar or 'ave a taste?
