I love that prosciutto and melon, great summer dish. I am bringing crab stuff mushroom, and will need to heat them in the oven for about 15 mins, Rick and Aldona due you want me to show up a bit early to do this. Also if you do not have oven space, let me know. A friend told me to bake them, then reheat in the microwave, not sure about that. But she says it works.

Bother! How long have I looked forward to this gathering and meal? Many, many months. However unexpected visit by family - and teenagers' inability to communicate events - forces to me bow out. I hope the open spot is filled with a soul able to enjoy this on short notice.

    July 16, 2014

I will not know to the last minute whatIm bringing also Jan. Jan don't bring glutan free pasta unless it tastes good. There are other thing to eat and seems ashame to work hard and then the pasta is bad. Never tasted glutan free pasta before. Is it the same?

    July 13, 2014

    • Roger A.

I have eaten glutan free and it all depends on the source. I've tried making it myself from store bought and it was horrible. However, i just had some at The Rock Wood Fired Pizza and it was tasty.

We haven't committed to a dish yet because we are still trying to find the right kind of ladyfingers for tiramisu (hard to find). Either way, we will bring a dessert.

I am gluten free but always bring dishes that I can eat...I actually may bring GF pasta

    June 17, 2014

  • Rick S.

The whole meal does not need to be gluten free. If someone attends that is gluten free then they will definitely want to bring a gluten-free dish...

    June 17, 2014

  • david S.

Is things supposed to be gluten free? So no pasta?

    June 16, 2014

  • Therese

I would love to bring grilled polenta with a fresh tomato pesto sauce. My basil is growing beautifully this summer! I have been looking for a group of foodies with creative skills in cooking, thanks for organizing. I would be happy to make something else if needed for balance!

    June 7, 2014

  • Jan

I don't think things have to be gluten free, but I am bringing something that is so that I can eat. I still am not sure what I am bringing but I want it to be good with Salmon. This will be so much fun
