Advanced Preparedness Series: Water

I thought I knew everything about water preparedness but after putting together this roundtable I have to admit that I didn’t.  During my research I discovered several surprising and useful bits of information that will benefit even the most seasoned preparedness individual.  This isn’t a FEMA information or water filter vendor rehash!   Be ready for a comprehensive, useful discussion!

The main areas of discussion shall be:

·  Why store water (plausible scenarios)

·  How much should you store?

·  Essential water preparedness (3 days), and beyond

·  How to store water

·  Finding and collecting water

·  Purifying water

PLEASE bring your own USB flash drive for digital handouts and to share photos of your own water setups!

You will leave this APS with new knowledge, ideas, digital copies of discussion content, and a step-by-step water preparations handout/checklist.

The organizers and speakers do not sell water filters, containers, any other emergency preparedness water products.

GPSs and Google may be wrong! Take Easter Ave west from University, (the southern end of the Streets @ Southglenn). Continue west on Easter until you see a parking garage, and the backend of the Sears building (by automotive). The library is across from the parking garage. ROOM B.  Booked under the Libertarian Party.

Very good meetup. David had a great presentation put together. It was well organized and he's obviously done a lot of research.

I am very impressed this group seems organized or should I say prepared. Brenda is there a way to get info from you if we can't make events?

Joseph, we will work on that. This is the first presentation for this group, so we will be ironing out the wrinkles. I think having a way for you to get the files (perhaps .ftp) should be a standard.

I am sorry I cannot be there, but rainwater collection should be a discussion. The state wants you to buy a permit....hahahaha

yes, as dumb as it sounds, you are required to get a permit to collect rainwater on your own property!! Talk about government intrusion! Douglas and Arapahoe Counties are serious about this....

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
