This is going to be a great night! A night that features a band all the way from Nunavut (The Jerry Cans), the return to Rancho of Do Mar who always bring a great set and a party. Plus the Rancho debut of Opium Parlor and welcoming back the Last True Gentlemen starting with...

The Last True Gentlemen hitting the stage at 9:30 sharp! They are going to be doing a set of Beck's Sea Change! Tell me how awesome that is going to be? Do not, I repeat, do not miss this!

Next up are Do Mar! The last time Do Mar was at Rancho was for their debut album release party and what an insanely great and busy night that was. Do Mar are what happens when rock meets soul meets funk with different musical influences from all over the world. If you haven't seen them yet, its time you do. Set time: 10:25

In the third slot are the Jerry Cans all the way from Nunavut. Word on the street is people are travelling from far and wide to come and see this band and I don't blame them as they sound fantastic. Their bio describes their unique brand of music like this: "The Jerry Cans will take you on a stroll through Iqaluit, Nunavut with their unique mix of Inuktitut country swing, throat singing, reggae, and blues, sharing a glimpse of life in Nunavut while challenging misrepresentation of the great white north. Nunavuttitut! Nunavut Style!" Set time: 11:15

Closing out the night are Opium Parlor are psyched out rockin' band with some serious groove to them. Recommended my good friends at the Indie Machine I can't wait to see their set! Check out some of their tunes in their music tab on the band page provided.

This is just an invite~ I can't actually be there to organize, since I'm performing that night. But it's always a good time at Rancho, and this lineup is super eclectic.
