Safeway 4th of July Waterfront Blues Festival!!

Summer is on the Way and guess what its Blues festival time!! Los Lobos and many more on the way. Please know that its crowded so we cannot save seat but I will arrive at 11am and be at the main stage. The best way to get a group of us to commit to take chairs and blankets down and sit all day and yes have a lifetime experience. Everyone needs to bring food to share and what ever it is you want to drink for yourself.

    Lets get a head count on how many early arrivers will be there before noon. This will give us an idea of how many spots we can stake out. We will eat at 4 pm but bring lots of good snacks to keep you until 4 pm. a 6ft by 8ft is allowed. I will have 2 bright red balloons floating for as long as they allow me too. text me when you get there. [masked]-7278. Please no negative posting on day of event, We do our best to save spots but because of demand please arrive as early as you can.

      *Last year, it was very sunny and hot with no cover. Good to bring sunscreen, hat, water bottle and other protection. The capacity maxes out later in the evening with a long line, so coming earlier helps you to get in.

    Since there seems to be confusion what people can and cannot bring in, I have copied this from the website:

    YES, PLEASE! ITEMS:

    • Your pass
    • Two 20oz. factory sealed water bottles or empty reusable bottle
    • One 16x16x8” soft backpack/tote/soft-sided cooler
    • One 6x8’ blanket
    • One chair per attendee with no maximum seat height.**
    Attendees with chairs more than 12” off the ground, will be required to sit in areas specifically designated for “higher chairs.”
    • Stroller for children
    • Phones & personal cameras
    • Food & snacks!

    Hi Everyone...I was only able to attend a couple of your events last summer. Hope for more this summer. I am working in the merchandise tent until 2:30 ish. Since I'll be there early maybe it won't be so hard to find you..any chance of the "secret" to locating the group? Or, someone could come up the the merchandise tent and see great stuff we have and let me know at that time where you are. Any chance?
