To be the most successful with this bartering group, become a member of one or both of my other meetup groups. They are designed to fit together. I am deeply connected to this community since I have lived in Holladay, Utah most of my life. I constantly meet people who have a wide range of experience, abilities, resources, knowledge, skills and talents.
To get started in the "bartering and trading" portion of my "Live and Thrive" business, RSVP and attend either a gardening or outdoor adventure event.
Prepare a head of time and email or bring with you the following information:
1) Your Wish List - This list consists of goods and/or services you may want or need. This list may change often so submit a new list as needed. This doesn't mean all your needs/wants will be met but it lets me know what you are looking for.
2) What you bring to the table - This list consists of what you have to offer in exchange. Think of your career and the type of work you do. Think of your expertise, knowledge, education, experience, skills, talents, resources, etc. that you have acquired and are willing to share with others.
3) Pick an event from one of my two other meetup groups and RSVP. Send me an email or text to let me know you are part of my Barter Group. You are not required to give me your list when you attend. By giving me a heads up when you will be coming, I can bring you a sample of other people's lists to give you some ideas for how to create your own. When you text or email me, make sure I will be there so I can bring you this information.
Once I meet you and learn more about you, I am better able to help and connect you with others.
Throughout my entire life, I have received great satisfaction from helping others. I look forward to meeting you!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
