Yes National Service Day is technically 1/19 but it seems to be going for the whole week (this week before and after and some even further) here is a link to the website that is organizing all the many ways to volunteer and even then some! Some as simple as collecting gently used warm coats all this month in donation boxes at Burlington Coat factory for distribution.
