It's A Meat-Up With Sideways

Sideways is proud to be invited back to Harvey's Steakhouse. We love this venue for it's terrific food and fantastic bar scene. There is a dance floor for you to get down with a variety of songs from Stray Cats, the Eagles, Bryan Adams, David Bowie, Allman Bros, Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Beatles, Rod Stewart, Santana, Eric Clapton, Doors, Wilson Pickett, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynryd, Joe Cocker, Johnny Cash, ZZ-Top, 3-Doors Down, Cream and Dire Straits.

Sideways is comprised of four Orange County music scene veterans, a collective musical powerhouse with over 75 years of combined performance experience. With a set list of over 50 songs ranging from classic rock covers and dance, to blues, funk, as well as occasional pure listening choices, the band delivers something for everyone. The band's strength is in its vocals, delivering incredible three part harmonies. Sing along, dance ... they may even have you on stage. A fun time is guaranteed!!

Thanks everyone for coming out and supporting the local music scene. The band is always looking for feedback and suggestions on how we can make these meetups better. Should we hold a table for everyone? Do we need a sign-in sheet? Is there enough variety in the music? How's the volume? We have more gigs at Harvey's coming up this summer as well as Brix in Sunset Beach. Watch for that e-mail on Sunday.

Randy, sorry I didn't get this sooner but I had already left for the gig. If you made it over you obviously know now there was not a sign-in though I understand several Live & Local people found one another. I did mention it was no-host and no sign-in on the original anouncement but maybe I can place it earlier in the post. If you think a sign-in is helpful, I'll see what I can do for the next one.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
