The Loremistress Eholora sits in her study, carefully applying the gold foil to a newly illuminated page, when her young apprentice Garrin rushes into the room.
"Patience Garrin," she chides him gently, "History is still going to be there if you take two moments or four to get to where you're going."

"Yes Mistress Eholora, but a forgotten book may not. I knew you'd want to read this immediately." He hands her a tightly curled parchment, remnants of black wax still affixed where it was once sealed closed, and a sheet of plain parchment covered in glyphs- the key to reading the other page. 'If the society knew we had cracked their code...' . The message was short and to the point:

My Brothers
Our time is coming, now that we know about the forgotten tome we are well on our way to the dominion and power that we have so long deserved. Meet me at the crossroads when the moon is dark and we will take up the great power. No one but us knows of this secret. If we act quickly we can claim it before anyone else even knows it exists. After all, who's going to miss a dusty old book.

Eholora throws down the parchment and picks up her staff. 'Who's going to miss a dusty old book, indeed!'
"Come on, Garrin, we're leaving immediately!" she calls to her apprentice.
"No Loremistress, not tonight. You promised to officiate the lord Duke's swearing in ceremony."
Curses, Eholora thinks, but she puts down her staff, casts a blessing to ask the gods for time, and turns back to illuminating the manuscript. Gods willing she, or someone else, would be able to figure out what was going on and stop it before it was too late.
