Join us Friday January 4 at Cousin's Incredible Vitality for an empowering lecture/conversation by Fredda of Chicago's own Fredda Identity Development. Fredda's "The Challenge of Authenticity,"will share with us the ways in which how we THINK affects how we FEEL, LOOK, and LIVE and WORK. She offers a unique approach to revealing personal and business identity and a philosophy that stresses how similar they really are.

Visit Fredda ID's website for more information.

Designing Your Authentic Life and Work

Michaelangelo saw an angel inside a hunk of marble and carved away until he made that angel visible to the rest of the world.

We see how you THINK, FEEL, LOOK, LIVE and WORK as a seamless web. We see how this is a life-changing process that will align your true spiritual essence- the reason you are on the planet - with all the ways you live all the facets of your life. As you are reading this, your life has immediately shifted toward the journey to your authentic self. It is often invisible, hidden beneath the dictates of society and those around us. But it is there to be revealed. And you have the power to reveal it.

Power is unrelated to the outside world. It is totally related to what is inside you. It is about the way you handle your own energy, what you allow and what you don't.

It is about controlling your own life. It is about accepting change and not fearing it.

It is exhausting to pretend to be something you are not. It is a waste of your time and energy. Pretending to be someone you are not starts with the exterior and leads to the interior - a comb-over of the soul.

Being authentic frees up time and energy. After you have accepted yourself, then learn to accept other people the way they are rather than expecting them to be where you are on your journey.

We think that maintaining the status quo is safe, but it is not. Risk is about feeling what is right, stepping through the fear and doing what must be done. We are never "safe" and by staying in a situation that no longer serves us, we are not safe - we are stagnant.

We have no control over what the universe brings to us. We only have control over the choices that we make.

You must purge the old to make space for the new. Edit out your life until all that remains is what is right and essential.

Our live buffet will be available at 6:30, along with dessert and hot tea for just $25.

Fredda will begin her conversation at 7:00, to end at 9:00.

Invite friends and loved ones, and don't forget to RSVP by phone at Cousin's:[masked]-6868.

I look forward to seeing you there!
