Let's check out bassist Christian McBride's new trio after dinner at Yoshi's-Oakland. NOTE: as of my creation of this posting (on Sept. 24), there are 8 discounted tickets available on Goldstar.
>>>UPDATE: Goldstar now shows this performance has SOLD OUT as of Sept. 26. (As of that date, there are still full-price tix available through Yoshi's website. ALSO, Yoshi's has no restaurant slots at 6:30 p.m., so I've moved up the start of the dinner to 6:15 p.m.<<<<
PRE-SHOW DINNER: Let's meet between 6:00 p.m and 6:15 p.m. inside the Yoshi's waiting area, prior to our 6:15 p.m. reservation time. (One advantage to eating there --in addition to the good food -- is that Yoshi's saves show seats for their diners, without requiring the 10-person minimum that otherwise is in effect for saved seats.) Please pick up your ticket at Will Call prior to dinner (we need to give those to the hostess so she can reserve our show seats) and bring cash to facilitate paying your share of the restaurant bill.
COST: On Goldstar, the total ticket cost per person is $16 (including Goldstar service fee). (Of course, dinner costs will vary according to what you order.)
SHOW TICKETS AND RSVP LIST: Buy your show ticket on Goldstar from the "sit together" link shown below. Click on "CHECK AVAILABILITY" on the Goldstar page that says "Sit with Paula M.'s group." Once I see your name listed on that page, I'll move you up from the Meetup event Wait List to the RSVP list. This will increase the odds of having an accurate headcount for the restaurant. NOTE: I'll likely cap the RSVP total at six people, to facilitate dinner reservations and seating.
GOLDSTAR "Sit With Paula M.'s group" page for buying tickets:
UPDATE: Goldstar tickets for this show have SOLD OUT as of Sept. 26. People still have the option of buying full-price show tickets for $27.50 per person (including service fee) through Yoshi's website:

I'll send my cellphone number and more of a description of myself to RSVPers before the event, so be sure to check your emails for that.
LOCATION/TRANSIT: Reasonably convenient walk from 12th Street Oakland BART station, but after the show, people will likely prefer to take a taxi or bus back to BART.
