Absolutely! We are collaborating with New Work City and BeSocialChange on an event on Oct. 3rd http://bit.ly/oDnWhw and we are working with NYU and Columbia on a Social Entrepreneurs BootCamp in November. We love the opportunity to bring people together to work, educate, and collaborate
By using the design process and understanding the systemic and holistic context of an issue design is able to not only provide solutions that are co-created wit the impacted communities, it is also able to take into consideration new models for change. In my life, Social Innovation is education, and designing a new education platform that will provide a more clear path for all backgrounds to engage in meaningful work through design.
Hi! My name is Erin Hersey and I am the Director of Operations at Design for Social Innovation (dsi.sva.edu), a new MFA program through the School of Visual Arts. We are looking for our first cohort of 25 changemakers and are doing many events.
