Do you love to collaborate?

Yes. I think and create well when I bounced off my ideas with other people. I'm a visionary so I need people around me to either expand or filter my ideas. Likewise, I love hearing other people's ideas and seeing other ways to problem solve.

How can social innovation impact your life and community?

Social design has already impacted my life. Being in NYC I think I take many great designs for granted. But as a designers, I don't think there is enough witty, challenging or beneficial designs that can help the communities around us. NYC has hundreds of designers using 110% of their creativity gearing their power and ideas towards advertisement for wealthy consumers. This gives big cities like New York an identity and notion that this city is only meant for the wealthy and successful. However, I believe our efforts and design should be geared towards everybody. Design shouldn't just be geared towards leisure but to solve issues in innovative ways. As an designer and a member of the community, I'm always trying to find ways to give back. I think the best gift you can give back to others is your time and skills.

I am a graphic designer and illustrator based in the Greater New York area.
