Simon (& Paul) I'm in the middle of writing a (random & mostly probably boring!) blog post about Big Data for the SAP community - after this week's session, I checked out the SeaLevelResearch website and would like to reference it - assume that is ok?

Another great session tonight - wish I had the time to go and play with all of the new JS libraries I keep seeing!

True! As someone who only skirts the very edges of proper JS development, I often feel in over my head!

This is what I put together last night, it's the next 24 hours of tide predictions for Liverpool :) http://sealevelresearch.github.io/d3-demos/

What really impresses me with D3.js is how powerful the results can be in a relatively short space of time

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
