Being an entrepreneur is a lifestyle. It is not only part of our lives, it is our lives. I have been to many networking events over the years and found them boring and ineffective. I would leave with a stack of cards in hand. Many contacts and very few true connections. I never knew what to say to these people when I contacted them. No matter what was said, everyone was there to sell their product or service. From a business perspective, what worse way to sell than to people who aren't interested in your product? I believe that trying to get at each others' contact books is a completely limited view of how we can work together in business. Feel free to join this group if you are interested in making connections with fellow entrepreneurs who are living the same kind of lifestyle as you. I look forward to meeting you!
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
