The short story: We want to have fun learning and living green! The long story: Living Green St. Louis is a network of people committed to social and environmental responsibility. We promote and support local and global environmental efforts primarily through activities at this time. We are interested in learning, living, and giving green--in all its capacities, from sustainable gardening to home energy audits to public transportation to organic food production to reducing our carbon footprints. WHAT: If you're interested in meeting others who want to live "greener", in organizing a sustainable event, in promoting a particular event, or raising awareness about new environmental products or services, we hope you'll join us at Living Green St Louis. WHEN: Living Green St Louis Meetups are scheduled all the time. Members can be Assistant Organizers and schedule events as well. Please email her with ideas of what YOU would like to do. WHERE: We have Living Green St Louis Meetups all over the region and as far away as our state capitol in Jefferson City. HOW: Participate! Become an Assistant Organizer. Email an Organizer with ideas. Invite your friends. Promote our events on your social networking sites. WHY: Because living green is vital for the continuance of our healthy planet and people.
