We are Wine Enthusiasts who believe in "Living Out Loud" in all we do! If you're someone who enjoys the finer things in life . . . like fine wines, great restaurants, really fun people, and can do it all with a positive attitude - this just may be the group for you. Some of the events we enjoy are wine tasting, happy hour events, Dinners, outdoor concerts and barbecues, and socializing with others.
Since most of the members live on the North side of the Columbia River (Clark County, WA)- we like keeping our hard earned disposable income here supporting local businesses. We do take occasional field trips to nearby Portland venues.
The group started in February 2009 as a Social Group. If you know someone who is already a member, please be sure to tell us who they are and if they are referring you.
The demographics of this group average from age 45-65, although any age is welcome.
Prerequisite: Must have a Positive Outlook, Enjoy Fun and Laughter, and have a propensity use your zygomaticoauricularis - then be Prepared, 'Cause we're all about Laughing Out Loud! One of the things about this group that never ceases to amaze me . . . how absolutely "friendly" everyone is. THIS IS A NO DRAMA GROUP! Please enjoy yourself and leave the drama at home. I also will not approve anyone who does not share their interests or other meetups because it leaves me nothing to base approval on.
One last caveat; If you sign up for an event and then find you have changed your mind or have other plans, please cancel your RSVP before the event starts. Holding down tables for people who never show up hurts the establishment, the group, and meetup as a whole. So... three no-shows (RSVP with no cancellation) and you are out. Most of us have smart phones now that will allow us to cancel while mobile. Thanks for understanding
Note: All Restaurant events whether it's Happy Hour, Wine Tasting or Dinner - we always leave a minimum of 18% gratuity. As part of this groups commitment . . . we always treat Wait Staff with great respect. If you believe there's a problem with an establishment, we do not let it get in our way of an enjoyable evening.
