Living Poetry is pleased to announced the second Poetry Scope evening at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. Five poets will read their science-themed poetry at the August 8th event:
- "Into the non-human hearted" by Claudette Cohen
- "Sesquipedalian" by Cherryl Floyd-Miller
- "COSM (Breaking the Second Law of Thermodynamics)" by Angie Kirby
- "Hometown" by Anna Weaver
- "Dynamo" by Lisa Zerkle
Science Café host, Brian Malow, will introduce each poet and topic then facilitate a Q&A about the science and the poem after each reading. Visit the museum website for more details.
