How did you hear about Living Poetry?

One of my many favorite poems is "the mother" by Gwendolyn Brooks. Robinson's "Luke Havergal" also is a wonderful poem--come to think of it, both poems really emerge because of their sound.

Why are you joining LP? What activities are you planning to attend?

I've always loved literature, and particularly the emotional power of poetry.

Which poet or poetry book are you currently reading?

I like to read all kinds of poetry, but I am especially drawn lately to Seamus Heaney and Billy Collins (well, who isn't?).

I've always belonged to poetry groups and wanted to try a new one. I'm also an English teacher and love to talk about poems.
