This group was started for people living with chronic disease who honor how important a positive mindset is.
The group will discuss and support:
Best practices for remaining committed to the management of your disease including diet, medication regimens, physical activity, controlling stress, etc...
Communication strategies to compassionately express your thoughts, concerns and questions to your medical team.
Communication strategies to lovingly express your feelings to your friends, family and acquaintances.
New perspectives on disease.
Strategies to retain a positive slant on life and those things we face daily.
Remaining centered while managing family, work and health.
Creating corporative empowerment to take responsibility for our health and our life.
Ways to laugh, have fun, lighten things up, live, take risks, be present and engage with life.
I am personally passionate about and experienced with living positive with chronic disease. I was born with VATER Association from which a few complications gave me the opportunity to see first hand how vital stress management and my mindset was to my health. I have been managing chronic restrictive lung disease, IBS and chronic kidney disease for as long as I can remember.
I am thrilled to connect with you, to support you, to laugh with you.
****The group does not dispense medical advice. If you have questions about treatment options or the medical management of your disease, please seek the assistance of a medical professional. We are strictly mindset, stress management and accountability focused.****
