March support group meeting/discussion - setting goals and dealing w/setbacks

I found a new location for our group! It's the Bethesda Regional Services Center. It is wheelchair accessible and they have comfortable chairs. We will be meeting in Room B. Signs will be posted in the lobby.

I had to change the day because most Thursdays were not available at a suitable time. In the future, we will most likely be meeting on Wednesdays with an occasional Thursday here and there. I want to thank everyone for their feedback regarding meeting dates!

To those who are new to the group, we welcome all who are affected by any type of chronic pain (and their loved ones). We are here to listen with a compassionate ear and support each other in coping with the challenges that living with chronic pain can bring, and to inspire each other to enjoy life as fully as possible!

The topic for this meeting will be Setting Goals and Dealing with Setbacks. I've prepared hand-outs on this topic and it has also been posted to the discussion board if anyone would like to begin a discussion prior to the meetup. If you would like a copy of the hand-out emailed to you prior to the meetup, please email me and I'd be glad to send you a copy!

Come out and meet new friends and support your fellow Pain Warriors!

Hi Mary, it's Tammy. Hope you are well. Last time I spoke with you I think I had just had my spinal cord stimulator replaced at the Clevland Clinic. Well, more bad news, already have a broken wire and am having surgery again next Thurs. (3/27 I think). I would love to speak on the phone sometime soon and certainly hope to get back to a meeting! Hope to talk to you soon! Tammy
