The Desire Map Book Club - #5

The Desire Map, by Danielle LaPorte, is more than just a program for goals with Soul—it’s a life philosophy.
Desire is the engine of creation.
Feelings are your road signs.
Desire mapping is how to get where you want to go.

The focus of this book club event is to gather with a common purpose: to feel the way you truly want to feel in every area of your life.

We’ll be opening up some dialogue — from the sacredness to the practicalities of core desired feelings, goal setting, and embracing gratitude as a practice. To dig a little deeper and get clear about how we want to feel in the New Year.

Let's start 2014 with intention. Beginning January 7th, we will be meeting for five weeks at The Astoria Bookshop from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. I encourage you to arrive early to browse around the bookshop and ease into the group, as we will be starting promptly at 6:30 pm.

1) Read section four of The Desire Map, “Sincere Effort, Trust & Faith”.

2) Discussion questions to think about:
a. What does "relaxed determination" mean for you?
b. Detachment, letting go, trust, surrender, release - these can be uncomfortable concepts. How do they make you feel?

I had a great experience, was comfortable enough to share with a very supportive group. Hope I didn't but in too much. Thank you Christina!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
