Potluck or Not Sunday Supper

After the wonderful, filling salads we created together with our "Stone Salad" contributions last week, we can't wait to see what you'll bring to share to our end of the month POTLUCK or NOT SUNDAY SUPPER this week!

Potluck or not is our monthly means of balancing our books to pay the rent and insurance on the space we use after enjoying splendid catered raw gourmet meals the rest of the month and reimbursing our chefs with the proceeds.

So you choose: bring a generous dish to share and $5 for the basket, or come as you are with your usual $10-$20 suggested donation and take potluck.

Our after dinner grace practice circle this week features a form of meditation for beginners and the experienced called Centering Prayer, where you focus on your personal sacred word and gently, as needed, return your attention to a state of present awareness without thought for 20 minutes.

A practice you can take with you that's good for body and soul.

I just want to put in a PLUG for the RENT! Someone told me last week that they didn't realize that we have to pay a weekly Rent for the Use of the Kairos Church Hall. We want you all to come, and offer whatever payment you can - even if it's only $1. But even if you bring food to the event, the RENT still has to be payed.
Our "Stone Salads" fed us very well. But the Rent Coffer went empty!
Thank you all for Helping to Pay the Rent this coming Sunday!!!!!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
