Hello friends! Andy here, and I'd like to ask a special favor of you. You may already know that our weekly Sunday Supper meeting is the longest continuously running weekly raw vegan gathering on the planet. For over seven years, Gabriel and Thomas Chavez have ensured, without fail, that there has been a place to come and enjoy a healthy, nutritious, raw vegan meal and enjoy a welcoming, open community. Each week, we request a completely voluntary donation of $10-$20 per attendee, but we have never turned away a single person for lack of funds.

Sometimes, however, our costs (which include facilities rental and insurance) have surpassed our donations, and whenever this does happen, Gabriel and Thomas have graciously stepped in and covered the difference out of their own pockets.

To help boost our funds, I've decided to pull out all the stops and present the most spectacular gourmet raw vegan meal I've ever dreamed up! I'm bringing back many of my favorites and adding a few new surprises. If you've ever enjoyed any of my meals, then I guarantee that this is one meal that you simply cannot miss! Also, if you've been wanting to introduce your friends and family to raw foods, then please bring them! In all, nine separate carefully crafted dishes will be presented in a tasting menu format for your enjoyment.

(Note, there will be no "circle time" after the dinner. The entire evening will be dedicated to the meal.)

In addition, all attendees will be entered into a free raffle where one lucky winner will receive an 8 HOUR block of my time which can be used for personal chef services, raw food coaching, in kitchen training, and any combination of the above!

To purchase a ticket, you can use the Paypal option when you sign up (you don't need a paypal account, just a credit card), or you can bring a check when you arrive.

So without further ado, here is our menu...

Raw Vegan BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches

This is one of my all time favorite creations! The taste, flavor and texture is unlike anything you've tried in the raw food world! The completely raw, vegan mushroom-based 'meat' is so realistic that people people are afraid to eat it. There's no reason to worry though. This delicious mushroom based filling sits in a tangy barbecue sauce between two slices of my rich, savory onion bread.




Thai Spring Rolls

These delicious wraps feature fresh, crisp strips of carrot, snow peas, bean sprouts and other vegetables wrapped tightly in a dehydrated mango-coconut wrapper. A creamy Thai jungle peanut sauce completes the package.

Raw Raviolis

Another crowd favorite! Paper thin slices of chiogga beet stand in for the pasta which envelops a rich and creamy cashew cheese filling. Each ravioli is topped with a savory marinara sauce and and grated brazil nut Parmesan.


Kale Salad with creamy tahini Garlic Dressing

My favorite salad creation of all time! Simple yet delicious. My recipe starts with green curly kale. Then I blend up a creamy garlic tahini dressing and massage the kale lovingly into the dressing. So good, that I ate nothing by this kale salad for dinner for an entire week straight! No, really. I could live on this stuff!

French Onion Soup

Three varieties of onion float dreamily in a golden, savory broth. My special marination and dehydration process ensures that the onions are soft, flexible, sweet and tender. Each serving is topped with a unique 'cheese' crust, just like you'd expect with French onion soup!

Spring salad with Creamy Ranch Dressing

The second salad of the meal is another crowd pleaser! Fresh garden greens are tossed in a deliciously creamy ranch dressing.

Yum Balls!

My latest dessert creation, and it's been such a big hit that I just had to include it with this meal. It looks like a doughnut hole, but it tastes like pure heaven. I really have to be careful about making big batches of these at home. They disappear quickly!


Two Cheesecakes to choose from!

If you've ever had a raw vegan cheesecake, then you have an idea of what you're in for. I'll be bringing two types, so you'll have a choice between my grasshopper cheesecake (contains no real grasshoppers) or my raspberry cheesecake. The grasshopper cheesecake includes one layer of chocolate and one layer of mint. These two flavors come together to form an amazing taste. The raspberry is just as delicious!

 

Ginger Ale

I haven't forgotten the beverages! This one is simple and refreshing. Freshly shaved organic ginger is steeped in Sparkling water with lemon and raw agave.

For a special treat, during the meal we will be entertained by local musical artist Greg Thelen.

As always, my meals are 100% RAW, 100% VEGAN, 100% GLUTEN FREE AND 100% SOY FREE! This means no meat, no egg, no dairy, no honey, no wheat, no nama shoyu, no Braggs Aminos, no nutritional yeast, no maple syrup, no agave nectar, no soy lecithin, or anything else that has ever been unnaturally processed or heated in excess of 115 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, all ingredients are organic whenever possible!

(and...I am one who does NOT like mushrooms or onions... but the way Andy prepared them was exquisite, tricking my palate into submission) The amount of food was beyond belief, but the timing and space between courses was perfect considering you were serving so many of us!
