Remember the story of the nourishing soup created by someone with a just a simple stone and a deep belief in the power of community sharing? This week we will be creating a fantastic raw community meal with ingredients that we all bring!
How about a hearty vegetable salad and a sweet fruit one? Maybe a soup and dessert? Bring a good quantity of at least two ingredients and let's see what we can put together. Gabrielle will bring the salad dressing. Here's some ideas--
Organic Greens (kale, lettuce, spinach, chard, celery, parsley, dill, cilantro, etc) and sprouts
Organic Veggies--broccoli, cauliflower, colored bell peppers, tomato, onion, red cabbage, beets, carrot, radish, etc.
Organic Fruits--oranges, strawberries, grapes, blueberries, mango, etc.
Sprouted and dehydrated nuts and seeds
A raw dessert??
In honor of this week being the beginning of Lent, our grace practice will be the magic of forgiving the past to meet each new experience with no baggage from the last time. Gabrielle will share a simple and very freeing "Completion" exercise that you can take home to do at the end of each day. Weather permitting, we will also make a small ritual fire to prepare ashes for Ash Wednesday.
Donations (Sliding Scale $10-$20) are welcome! NOBODY turned away!
