Foraging Wild Edibles Classes

Earl Switzer is offering a series of Classes re: Foraging and Preparing Wild Edibles. The Dates are: Saturdays: May 17, June 21, July 19, 2014

There will be Instruction - WHY eat Wild Edible Plants?

You will Watch the blending of Stinging Nettles, fruits, and raw nuts in a Smoothie.

You will Drink a glass of this highly nutritious Smoothie when its made.

You will Receive a 15 page booklet of OUR WILD EDIBLE PLANTS with room for notes.

You will Visit Earl's Stinging Nettle Garden, the first such in Portland.

You will Identify up to 30 plants, mostly edibles, growing in Earl's garden.

You will Examine his helpful plant identification Books (Not For Sale!)

Kombucha and Water Kiefir cultures with Instructions will be for sale.

Cost for the Class is $25.00. Repeating participants pay $15.00

This class will hopefully help you improve your health, at low cost, through better nutrition from the wild edible plants you will be able to use to supplement your present diet.

    earl.. i just realized that the streetcar and max don't run that early on the weekends.. the streetcar won't get me to the library until 8:40am from south water front.. and then there is a 20 minute wait until i catch the blue max.. that is an hour long max ride and walk to get to your place... i would not be able to get there until after 10:30am on a saturday..
    i was so looking forward to this class..
    in the future..would it be possible to schedule the class in the afternoon on a saturday..?
    i;m sorry i didn't realize this sooner..
