Hello, Meetuppers!

Well, our last Meetup was cancelled due to freezing weather in Big D and surrounding areas, but will be rescheduled immediately. We posted our cancellation on the Welcome Page and also sent everyone a last-minute email, so we hope that you were not caught betwixt and between with no info. We also notified Borders Books, but we later heard that no cancellation notice was posted at the store, and we are sorry!

What is next? Well, Elaine Copeland is next! Elaine, long time live Meetupper and always a welcome face around these parts, will be presenting her talk on the use and development of intuition in learning and practicing Tarot. Come see!

Elaine Copeland: "Expanding our Intuition and Insight in Tarot Reading"

A. A brief overview referencing some noted ideas from the Greats on this topic.

B. An exercise on Intuitive Expansion.

C. Discussion and feedback.

We expect this experiential presentation/workshop to be lots of fun, and you will take away some extra skill at the end of the evening.

Don't forget to RSVP, even if you say No or Maybe, since this lets others know that our community is strong and active, and we stay in touch with each other, even when we can't make it.

Join us for a good time, folks! Since we don't pay for the space, and Borders has added tables and chairs for us, PLEASE buy a drink in the Cafe to show your appreciation! Plan to arrive around 6:45 and schmooze with us. See you there~

    •  Elaine did a great job, providing a solid talk on the nature of intuition, the ways men versus women tend to use intuition, and how to deliberately develope this natural sense for use in Tarot. We enjoyed some audience participation, (always fun because it may not work!) and this gave us a chance to get to know some of our members a little more than previously. Funny thing, Elaine showed up in a business suit, looking very spiffy, and she said she was there to represent the slick, streamlined, conservative Normal Person, (that's not exactly what she said), and so I suppose the rest of us were there to represent the Blue Jean contingent. We had a great time. Thanks, Elaine! Come again!
