Based on the Livonia Rec Center's yearly challenge "100 days to Health", here's an idea for our group.
Let's challenge ourselves to get healthier this year by signing up to see if we can hike 100 miles. This can be either with this group and/or another group or on your own. It's all up to you to monitor and challenge yourselves.
I will post the miles for the group walks if you want to include those in yours. There's no payment to do this. And you will keep track yourself.
Try and include hikes where you're in the woods on preferably unpaved trails but feel free to include paved ones like the walk around Kensington Lake, etc. It's all up to you what you want to include.
At the end of next year, we can go out and celebrate whatever distances we each do. I have a few design ideas for t-shirts too if anyone is interested in ordering some.
