We split into two groups. One did golf course and other did 4+ miles up the west side of Kent Lake on the main walking/biking trail. Very strong wind on return to golf center.

Thanks again to Delphine and Rick for leading newer skiers around the golf course! It was enjoyable, despite some fierce wind gusts.

Fred will be meeting people today at the rental place on golf course. My knee needs to rest today after downhill skiing yesterday

I better stay home, I had quite a sinus infection on Friday. Need to make sure it stays away with the Sudafed Sinus med.

I will call Kensington Saturday to see if their trails are open. At least it remains cold without rain so what we have, we can keep.

Snow looks great. Hope we can ski!

Snow is looking iffy! If no snow (I'll post on Saturday), then we can hike here. If hiking bring yak traks if you have them.

glad to hear some activity is still on. I'm beginning to get cabin fever!

    Thanks Barbara

Ok we need some new snow! If conditions are not favorable for skiing next Sunday, we will hike there. I know we just did this weekend, but might as well.

Hi, Barbara. Are the trails at the golf course flat? I'm in the process of learning how to cross-country ski, and am looking for flatter terrain (for now) for practice. Thanks! :)

    • Barbara

Actually i don't know as I've never skied there before. I think there would be some flat beginner trails though.

Thanks, Barbara. Weather permitting, I'm hoping to be available to join you all. If I attend, I'll likely be sticking to flatter trails, though. :) Many thanks for organizing these outdoor events!
