May Moonlight kayak/canoe paddle - Milford area

  • May 17, 2014 · 6:30 PM

Meet at Heavner Canoe Rental at 6:30pm to 7pm. Paddling starts at 7:45pm! Lots of people and different meetup groups go so we can try and meet at the parking lot.  I'll get a meetup sign.  Or just join the fun on your own.  We will not have any set restaurant in Milford but can meet up at the beach area to discuss.  I'll find a location and post.

Basic Idea: We paddle down river to Milford, eat there and then, paddle back.  Or they have a van that can transport you and your boat back.

Costs: $30/person or $5 with your own boat (for transport back or to attend bonfire afterwards)

Reservations: Call[masked] or[masked] You have to call and make your own reservations.

This turned out to be a very nice evening without any rain at all in Milford. Saw a lot of birds and a deer.

Donna if you want to go, you can. Just show up there. You just tell them the booking is under my name and you can get either a canoe or a kayak. I haven't put money down but can hold the boats. It was hard to get through to them.

It is very difficult to get through to them. I spoke with Alan today from there and we have a group reservation now. You can pay when you get there. I gave them everyone's first name. Ask for a reservation under the name "Barbara Glover/Livonia Walks". I paid only for myself so you can pay the day of.

They have had some internet problems with their website.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
