Walk the wooded trails of pretty, scenic Heritage Park in Farmington Hills, just off Farmington Rd and north of 10 mile Rd. Enjoy getting back to nature a bit, listen to birds in the trees, maybe see a deer or rabits, and check out the duck pond.
This is more of a woodsy walk on unpaved trails. Slight chance of mud so please wear shoes you don't mind getting a bit dirty (it's muddy if it's rained). We will be providing trail maps in case you are worried about getting lost. Fred knows the trails well though so I think we will not get lost.
Meeting place: Heritage Park, main entrance, turn at first left and park near the duck pond. We'll meet there.
Duration and difficulty: Easy to moderate (may be a few hills), walk about 4miles mostly under tree cover in case it is a hot day.
Post walk coffee/lunch: Please bring a packed lunch and we'll either eat while walking or afterwards in the picnic area
