Join other local gourmands at the Truffle Table in Highland as we “crack” open a full wheel of Italian Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese!
A full 90lb wheel of Parmigiano will be opened right before your eyes and you’ll have the chance to sample this exquisite Italian staple in it’s freshest form.
Italians love Parmigiano-Reggiano for its nutty and salty flavor, often using it to liven up pasta dishes. But it doesn’t stop there! You can use fresh Parmigiano-Reggiano on just about ANYTHING including salads, in recipes, alongside fresh figs, or just on its own with some Italian red wine and fresh bread (Just don’t use it on seafood pasta! ;)
Miguel from the Truffle Table has chosen two wines that will pair perfectly with the cheese, and the cheese mongers at the Truffle Table will guide you through a sampling of Parmigiano and answer any questions you may have. You'll also take home a chunk of fresh Parmigiano to use in your own kitchen at home!

This event is $40.00 (payable directly to the Truffle Table on the night of the event, tax and gratuity NOT included).
What you get:
2 wine samples to pair alongside the fresh Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. The Truffle Table will prepare their classic charcuterie and olive plate for you to snack on. You will also go home with a 1/4lb. chunk of fresh Parmigiano-Reggiano to use at home.
