We are runners who live/work/run in Lower Manhattan. Members of this group are runners in their 20's and 30's, capable of running at least 4miles at a 10mm, and who want to run early in the morning or later in the evening due to a busy schedule.

Recently, I set out to find a running group with whom I could run on at least a weekly basis. After running with a few groups, I quickly found that, with my work hours and location, it was difficult to find anything that really worked. While all my runs with these groups were enjoyable, I found that, aside from the difficulty of the time and location, there weren’t many other young, social and motivated runners. That's when it hit me...why not start a running group for young professionals (~20’s and 30’s) who live, work, or run in Lower Manhattan?

This running group will start and end runs in Lower Manhattan, anywhere from 14th Street to South Ferry. Morning runs will wrap up by 8:00am and evening runs will depart after 7:30pm in order to accommodate our busy schedules. The beauty of joining a group like this at its inception is that we can make our own rules! We can try new routes, new starting points, new start times...the sky is the limit! The only criteria is that we're all motivated runners (able to <10mm for at least 4 miles) in our 20’s or 30’s, and want to start/finish our runs in Lower Manhattan at times that fit our busy schedules.
