Being a stay-at-home mom, it's been a long time since I've been back at this studio & I totally miss it! I hope to drop in at least once a month & lose myself in my art! Drawing/Painting at home has been impossible w/2 small kids! Cheers All!
A great environment for fellow artists to come in and refine their skills in Life Drawing. The models are terrific, fellow artists are professional and there is a LOT of space to move around in! Excellent atmosphere to lose yourself in your artwork!
Oh nos! What class are you taking? Any way you and Kathryn could meet me for a coffee or tea one day ?
Teri, thanks for the heads up, but it was just too late. I would have totally gone if I had known earlier. Maybe next time.
I miss ya Teri, and your early-90s Fullerton College anecdotes!
I just had a thought Teri- have you considered doing studies of your toddler? I mean- just keeping your easle at hand and capturing the day to day antics of a small child? I could see a book made out of that. Life is art sometimes. You'd keep being interrupted by mothering- but an artist of your ability might just be able to pull it off. It's not all 'artsy' or anything- but no one defines art but the artist eh?
Ugh, oh great, another artist with super skills, HOW NICE.
Awesome new stuff, btw.
hey i love the two drawings you got out of wed night! both look so good. sorry i think i took too long with the gesture poses in the beginning of the night, not leaving enough time for the last 20 minuter. Hope you're having a good week. See you next time!
