Hey Everybody
Our next meetup is scheduled for Thursday, December 1st at 6:30pm at the AOL Ventures space at 770 Broadway (entrance on 9th street).
This month we're going to talk about one of those questions that everybody who's ever built a location based app has probably asked themselves at some point: which API should I use to get data about location and places. And to answer that question, we have an awesome panel representing four great companies who provide location data APIs: Brom.ly, foursquare, HyperPublic, and SinglePlatform. This should really be an awesome event, and we'll be spending a lot of time on q+a so that we can dig into the particular pluses and minuses of each API ... so bring your questions with you!
Also, I want to make sure that people who are currently working on apps &/or considering which API to use have a chance to attend - so I'll be reserving a couple of RSVP slots. If you're one of those people but don't get an RSVP slot, then email me with details (either by replying to this email or through Meetup here).

Allen ChenIt was a great event last night as usual! The pace was just right, the topics were very useful, and the Q&A conversation were engaging. The member announcements were also very helpful at the end of the meeting, but couldn't hear everything clearly. Suggest maybe have these announcements written and posted somewhere so people can get the correct spelling of url's and emails. Also look forward to the mentioned pre-meeting demos in future meetup's. It was great to network with many other like-minded entrepreneurs and professionals (some came from CA just 5 days ago!) before and after the event. Pizza and beer were excellent! Keep them coming and keep up the great work! :) Big thanks to Michael and all the organizers!!
