Gotta take me off the list. I couldn't make it had to be up early so Comcast could tell me how much I can't get service.

We had a great time. Everything/everyone worked as promised. We collected 14-15 bags of litter and recyclables and one huge 4'x4' plastic pallet.

I had a great time! And it's neat to help clean up what I consider my own back yard. Thanks Marilyn and Jim for taking care of us kayakers.

TONIGHT - come early if you can to the clinic. I will be there to sign you up for Saturday's Clean Up Lodi Lake and River. If you are signed up and on a team before Saturday, just show up with your team about 8 AM,at the lake with your boat, kitchen garbage bags (2- 1 for garbage and 1 for recycle stuff), and a grabber stick, to pick up things you can't reach from the boat. You return to the boat dock in about an hour, dump what you have found on the Team Tarp, get the Team Tally turned in so you get your freebies, and get out of there in plenty of time to get to the Swap Meet. PARKING WILL BE A PROBLEM IF YOU ARE NOT EARLY. IF YOU PLAN TO PARK INSIDE MAKE SURE YOU PAY AT THE GATE ($4 FOR RESIDENTS AND $5 FOR NON-RESIDENTS.

Karen: Will you be attending either the Tuesday Party or the Wednesday Class? If so, I will have the necessary signup forms there for you to complete and then register you to a Team. If not, please call me or e-mail me to get me the necessary information. I must finish registration for the kayak team(s) BEFORE the day of the clean up.

Jim: I'll bring the necessary forms to both the Tuesday and Wednesday events. I do not want to worry about registration of kayakers on the morning of the event, if I can help it. Hopefully, the kayakers will be out and on the lake before registration opens on Saturday.

Marilyn, just got back from a week of kayak training in Oregon. We will meet Tuesday evening for a pot luck-5 year anniversary celebration. I will talk up the river cleanup and get a crew there for Saturday AM. We will also be meeting Wednesday at the lake for our social event 5:30 PM to Dusk. Again, I will be there and get some commitments.

Swap Meet doesn't open until 10 AM. Come get your Starbucks between 7 and 8 AM, put in an hour of clean-up, help tally your take, get a free T-shirt (MUST PRE-REGISTER on line BEFORE midnight 9/20/2013, giving me your T-shirt size) and other freebies, have a good time, AND STILL be first in line for the Swap Meet.

If you plan to be on a KAYAK TEAM to clean up the Lake and River.... CALL ME (see note below).

To go as a team or individual call [masked]). I need phone #, T-shirt size & e-mail address to set up teams. Individuals not pre-assigned will need to register at the lake. NO REGISTRATION AFTER 9 AM. As the Leader finishes registering, someone from the team gets tools. The rest, get in the water and wait. PLEASE don't congregate at the registration area. Dan can not transport kayaks due to conflict with Swap Meet. Kayaks are available on loan. Call Dan to get a kayak. Bring water, sun tan lotion, etc., a pick-up/grab stick, & small garbage bags (kitchen size better than lawn/garden). All return to the Team tarp area @ 10 AM. ALL brought in is then tallied for your team. After completing the count, take recyclable stuff to the recycle area and the rest to the garbage area. The Leader, meanwhile, will turn in your Team Tally Card, and pick up your perks. ALL PARTICIPANTS TEAM PICTURE at 11:30... please stick around and take part in the celebration. QUESTIONS ?-[masked]

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
