Natoma Fest -

Unhosted Informational Event:

Lynn Halsted Pas has invited paddle clubs throughout California to spread the word to those that want to be out on what may be the largest congregation on Lake Natoma of kayakers at Negro Bar.

"Lake Natoma Fest". This is a SUP / Canoe / kayaker gathering, largely occurring at Negro Bar to attempt the largest kayaking assembly under a bridge, most likely under the Folsom Blvd. Bridge. A series of photos will be taken from above on the bridge to capture the mass of boats and people. If you wish to show support, RSVP, and simply arrive under the bridge by 9:00.

We will probably park and launch at Willow Creek and paddle up to the bridge.

~Hi Cherie; Yes, Negro Bar has limited parking. As suggested on Sacramento Paddle Pushers meetup site, people should drop off their yaks at the bottom then park up top. Or, bring wheels and take down that way (about the same distance to the put-in at Consumnes). Pictures will be taken by volunteers in my paddle club and posted on SPP's meetup site and Facebook page. I'll also post some pictures here that I have access to. **There's also a canned food drive happening with this event. We'll have two designated trucks where you can drop off your items that will be donated to a local food bank.

Will Natoma even have water? Haha. Negro Bar has limited parking, so get there early! And people should bring wheels if they have them (it's a long trek down to the water).
Who is taking the pictures and where will they be posted?
