DJ's one stop was a delight. nice friendly folks, neat and clean store and deli and good food, well priced. the abandoned courthouse was visually stimulating on several levels. the red and yellow brick juxtaposed with the green vegetation, the places where the building was open to the sky, the older building we took for a jail; all in all a great place for photos. even better there is a levee across the street providing both an elevated shooting platform and also some passing ships to shoot. a jaunt down the street to the cemetery provided the surprise of statues. no not angels but full sized biblical figures. at this point i bailed, how was the plantation house?

Lomography has arrived in Acadiana! Our meetups lead me to places that I would not have visited otherwise, and allow me to capture Acadiana and Southern Louisiana as I see it. I appreciate all the tips and input and enjoy the conversation at every meetup. I leave every meetup looking forward to the next one.

I think we're awesome, obviously! I think I should re-name the group Lomographers of South Louisiana, though.
